We made another trip to Midtown, this time to walk inside the homes. Brookfield Signature series impressed us again, just like two years ago. The Signature Four still amazes us with the wall of windows.
Now we have a new favorite: the Infinity Alto. This is the tallest, most-urban series of homes at Midtown. Or anywhere else we’ve been.
The first thing you see upon entering the Alto is a three-story atrium and modern industrial staircase leading all the way to the top. First floor has a great room, dining, kitchen and study in the back. Second floor has two bedrooms and bath, a sitting area, plus a master suite with huge bathroom, walk-in closet and balcony. Third floor is a penthouse, perfect for entertaining. There’s another balcony, this one 25 feet above the ground. The model has a spectacular view of the park, south to downtown, and east to DIA. It’s like being on top of the world.
Perhaps the most surprising: this new, modern home – one of the largest at Midtown – starts at about the same price as what we might get for our 114-year-old house in Sunnyside. Except this one has closets!
