Election Day 2016 turned into Election Night. A long, long night. No matter who you supported, I think it’s fair to say almost everyone was surprised with the outcome. Maybe even the eventual winner.
I won’t get into the politics of it here, but I’ll say this: when it seemed the course of our country had abruptly changed, and the overseas markets shook overnight, we were worried. Was this really the right time to buy real estate? Will we have trouble selling our current home? Was it too late to cancel the contract?
The next morning, markets rallied, expectations adjusted… and it appeared the world wouldn’t end after all. At least not today.
