We’d scheduled our first meeting with the man who will supervise construction of our home (what David Weekley calls the Builder). He’s very experienced, and saw no problem when we asked about adding a couple windows at a reasonable price. He explained the process and what to expect. And then came the unexpected: He took us to the home site and they were excavating our basement!
I can’t explain how exciting this is for us! All these months of imagining, planning, and even some disappointments. Strangely, there’s a part of me that throught this would never really happen. Like it was a dream. Well… dream no longer. It’s real!
