It’s hard to imagine all the places you want an electric outlet. Sure, there’s the obvious ones. But how about under the desk in the middle of the study? Maybe a lamp on the end table next to the sectional. (Will there even be a sectional?) I’ll need one in the yard for the water feature. What about a plant and uplight on the staircase landing? There are 4 landings… do they all need one?
Then there are the lights. Our current house has recessed can lights. Everywhere. Sure, they can be nice in the kitchen but in the bedroom? I don’t think so. Do we need a ceiling fan in the bedroom? Sure, under-cabinets lights in the kitchen. But how about floor lighting in the bathroom so you don’t have to turn on the overhead lights in the middle of the night.
So much to think about, and all we really want is for them to get started building this house.
